The Twin Hornet Heater is an extremely safe heater that was designed to solve the flaws found in other bilge heaters. Traditional heaters fail to provide heat when any single component fails. You could have thousands of dollars of damage when a single part fails. This possibility is greatly reduced with the Twin Hornet Heater because there are TWO of every operational component. If a single part fails, you have a back up. We use patented, stainless steel heating modules, which represent the safest technology available because they will not overheat. The thermostats are explosion proof, hermetically sealed and automatically maintain a temperature of 40F. We are the only manufacturer to solder dip, encapsulate and hot polyamide seal every electrical connection. Other manufacturers use crimp connectors, which can quickly deteriorate in a marine environment.
