The Panther T5 provides a unique solution to steer a kicker motor. Can be installed on kicker motor with threaded tilt tube without drilling any holes in the boat. Installs in minutes and requires only 4 inches between main engine and kicker. Mounting hardware included. Motor is encased in black delrin, water resistant, mounts thru-the-tube. Controlled by a 2 button hand held remote with 24' cable.

The Electro Steer is working as expected. To fit the threaded rod from my Honda kicker motor to the Electro Steer was very easy. The wiring a bit more challenging but can be handled by person with a bit of electrical wiring knowledge. The unit is designed so it will not interfere with my main motor and that is great. The only concern I have is how will the wiring on the hand held remote control end hold up over time? There is very little strain relieve...

Unit mounted and setup smoothly and easily in the tube of my Yamaha 9.9. Allows full range of motion for the kicker with fairly decent response time. Use it heavily in heavy fishing traffic where control of the direction is very critical. Performs every bit as good as the advertising suggests.
