OJ Inboard Ski Boat Prop
Johnson Propeller, Inc. was founded in 1936, by Oscar Johnson and his son, Ivar. Together they established basic standards for their product, for which quality, efficiency, durability, and customer satisfaction were main factors, as well as pride and self-satisfaction in the finished product.
Oscar Johnson, without the aid of any special engineering background, took his ideas and carved master patterns out of wood, made molds for the prototype castings, did the precision machining, finishing, balancing, and finally tested and modified his product for maximum results. All this resulted in propellers far ahead of their time.
