Lectrotab Trim Tab Actuators (Heavy Duty)
Lectrotab heavy duty trim tab actuators are precision-engineered to combine quiet operation with a non-hydraulic, maintenance free design. The unit is corrosion free, ensures very accurate tab positioning, provides maximum lift force, and is totally self-contained for easy installation. The actuator assembly is packaged in a non-metallic permanently sealed housing. No components need to be installed inside the boat. Most importantly, unlike hydraulic trim tabs, there is no oil to leak out. The actuator incorporates a standard or low profile transom mounting bracket. Actuators come in 12 and 24 VDC with 8 second recommended stroke time.

Great Actuator, better customer service
I had to replace two of these actuators on high speed tabs. I sourced one locally in Pompano, FL which was a disaster. Rude people and the wrong actuator. Boatownersworld.com sent me the correct one, with a better price, and very quickly! If they break again, I will happily wait and extra day or two and order online.

The warranty period ends when the actuator becomes unusable for reasons other than material and workmanship defects.
Standard actuator failures due to material and workmanship defects may be replaced with an exact or like model by obtaining a "Return Authorization" number from Lectrotab and sending the failed actuator back for warranty evaluation. If the returned actuator is deemed to be covered under warranty, a replacement actuator will be shipped to you ground freight, FOB Richmond, Virginia for domestic customers. An advanced replacement actuator may also be sent out prior to returning the failed actuator with a form of security provided by the customer or dealer. For International customers, please contact a Lectrotab distributor for warranty replacement information.
Actuator failures due to normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, incidental or consequential damages or a failure to follow Lectrotab's written installation instructions are NOT covered by this lifetime warranty policy.
This lifetime warranty policy does NOT cover labor cost, hauling fees or any other associated fees pertaining to replacing the actuator.
