Happy with this ladder

I’m very happy with this ladder so far. Assembly was straightforward, and installation was easy too. It is installed on an old pontoon boat that serves as our dock. I did install the ladder on a riser so that we didn’t have to bend over as much when we reach the top of the ladder. The two improvements I would make to the ladder are: 1. Weld a guide around the back posts where they come together when extended in order to provide a little more stability. I’ve circled the are I’m taking about. 2. Include a bracket or eyelet at the lower step near the nylon strap that is used to lock the latter in the folded position. A rope could then be attached to this bracket or eyelet to ring the ladder up to the folded position when you are finished swimming. Overall, a good design, and a good value compared to other swim ladders out there.
