LectroTab Performance Boat Trim Tabs
SPECIAL SALE ON LECTROTAB "KC" KITS (Control Switch Not Included)
Lectrotab
developed this non-hydraulic, electromechanical product in order to avoid
the disadvantages inherent with the hydraulic approach.
The Lectrotab design advantages include:
A tab actuator design which
contains all of the actuating assembly within its own housing so there is
nothing to install inside the boat.
A non-hydraulic design which
can't leak oil because there is none.
Convenient helm mounted
control switches which provide instant actuator start and stop for very
accurate positioning.
A full pivoting upper bracket
for maximum installation flexibility.
A patented ram seal which
cannot be fouled by barnacle growth and a patented internal pressurization
system for added watertight integrity.
A complete non-metallic
external structure which cannot corrode and will not deteriorate in the
sun or under water.
The Lectrotab installation is
quick and saves space. Also with an actuating force exceeding 700 pounds,
your tabs are promptly positioned where you want them and stay put.

FIVE YEAR WARRANTEE
from Manufacturer
Actuator has a completely
non-metallic exterior for absolute resistance to corrosion.
Hardened steel, free wheeling
ballscrew provides 700 pounds of force
WHEN PUSHING AND 100 pounds when PULLING the tab in both directions
and eliminates electrical limit switches. .
The 8 second
stroke time and 12 volt is standard. For special applications 4 second
stroke time is available. Stroke length is 2 1/4 inches.
Lower scraper cleans the Ram
when retracted but the water seal is located beyond where the fouled

exit position match the screw pattern and hydraulic connection of the most
popular hydraulic type. Actuator wire may be routed neatly through the
upper bracket or around the bracket.
Upper bracket can be
positioned from vertical to horizontal.
Reversible D.C. motor is
torque limited to protect the gearbox and current limited to protect the
motor.
Greased and sealed, 40:1 planetary gearbox
vides smooth, quiet, high torque drive to the ballscrew.
Vent tube check valve allows air in, but
not out, thus providing automatic internal pressurization each time the
tab is retracted (US PAT. #5881666).
12-gage, 304 stainless steel, two-piece,
