The X-Series Composite DuoProp® Propeller is perfect for Volvo Penta
4.3L and 5.0L gasoline engines with XDP or DPS DuoProp Sterndrive. This
propeller features a tensile strength 10 to 15% greater than aluminum,
with performance to match. This composite material will not corrode or
suffer cavitation burning the way stainless and aluminum props can.
Composite construction also provides the ability to change blades too,
dramatically reducing repair time and costs.

Repitchable
By changing blade sizes, you can customize your boat for the day ’s
specific activity - a lower pitch for waterskiing, and a higher pitch
for cruising. Different sizes are provided for different needs.
Impact Protection
The X-Series Propeller is constructed of Verton®, which is made
primarily from long-fiber, fiberglass and nylon, and has a high tensile
strength 10 to 15% greater than aluminum. The blades are designed to
absorb impact energy generated by a heavy propeller strike. This feature
protects the lower unit from internal damage, and could save you
hundreds —even thousands — of dollars in repair costs. Unlike aluminum
or stainless steel propellers, the X-Series Propellers do not corrode or
promote electrolytic corrosion in the boat or sterndrive. Experience
fewer problems and added pleasure for leisure boating. The hubs have a
core of high-strength extruded aluminum covered with Verton®.
A complete propeller consists of few parts and is easy to assemble
and replace. X-Series Propeller sets come complete with a front
propeller nut which is required when installing on an XDP or DPS
sterndrive.
Excellent performance
X-Series Propellers deliver performance fully comparable to that of
aluminum propellers. In a recent test, the composite propeller fared as
good or better than stainless propellers in acceleration comparisons.

in place of the "D" & "F" series but NOT "A", "B" or "C" Series
